Metaphors and Immigration: How Media Imagery Shapes Discourse

This paper explores the metaphors of immigration in the US, as it is presented in the current media climate, using the linguistic theories of Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Critical Discourse Analysis. Data was gathered and analyzed from a survey with open-ended questions.
