    Still Rolling
    Kingdom of Salt is still rolling. I've paused to detail out a city that I'd left largely blank before, as the current story demands much more support from scenery and context. I'm also working on an overview of the world, sort of a playbook/style sheet sort of thing.

    I've been getting very aggressive with working on this project. It's taken over enough of my day on a regular basis that I'm going to start a project dedicated to it.

    A New Short Story!
    I wrote a short story! It's called "A Song of Semi-Colons" and it's very weird and very dark. Currently out on the third round of submissions. Update 6/30/21: still waiting on response from the latest market. Just sent in query on status.

    WIP word count over 100K
    Still working on Kingdom of Salt. The renovation to the plot is going VERY well. I'm so pleased with the extra depth I've been able to add!

    Moving Forward Again
    Hubby is reasonably healthy, my own bronchitis is slowly backing off, and I'm at my desk more to write than to play WoW. Let's see how long that lasts this time.... :) 2/17: another 6000 odd words added to KoS in the last three days. Hooray!

    1100 words added today; 1000 words added today (1/19/21) This bucket has gotten a lot of my energy of late. I'm about 6000+ words up on this draft, and I'm thinking about it a LOT. (2/16/21)
    Stalled Out
    I've been sick and now my husband is in the hospital with (probably?) pneumonia. So I'm way behind. But I'm working on proofing the ARCs for the re-release of SERVANTS OF THE SANDS as fast as I can and poking at odd stories when I can't sleep. 2/16/21 update: proofing DONE!
