OK D'POET

OK D’POET is a prolific artist from Ghana; an award winning poet and writer of the year (Youth Awards Ghana; YAG’20). This poet has performed on so many platforms which includes Chaskele 2018 held at KNUST, Ehalakasa poetry slam, Clean Ghana ambassadors’ competition. He has nine recorded pieces to his credit of which some of his videos have been aired on several TV stations in Ghana which includes Kantanka TV, TV Africa, Tumpani and GHone. He has toured some radio and TV stations in Accra which includes EPUrban radio, Pluzz fm, Joy Prime TV, OmyTV and Kantanka TV. His latest piece titled Aseda had 10k airplays on audiomack. Most of his rich illustrations are centered on themes such as hypocrisy, the love and potency of money and true love. As a Christian and Pan Africanist, he gets inspired by the arts of nature but is envisioned and stays focused through the speech from his inner being. As talented and skilled as he is, he makes a ploy with both the local dialects and the English language distinguishing his works. Words from the core of the earth is his mantra and with his magma flow, he turns everyone around him into a poetry lover(lava).
