I'm a poet. Someday I hope to learn more about letterpress. I'm continually surprised and informed by the poetry of my classmates and contemporary writers. Right now, I'm a graduate student in creative writing and working on a chapbook to self-publish or submit to a small press.
In this chapbook, I am exploring how anxiety and depression distort and inform reality. I hope to challenge notions of "wild" while exploring how a sense of place can offer a sense of belonging. My goal is to expand conversations around mental health.
This is my favorite part of writing: the community of writers sharing space and creating together. I offer three main workshops right now: Writing the Self Wild, Writing to Heal, and Poetry & Placemaking for Educators. Please contact me for customized workshops and retreats.

At Sunlight Editing, I work with small businesses and publishing presses dedicated to social and environmental change. I write and edit digital media for environmental schools, manage social media for indie bookstores, and produce environmental & educational articles for blogs.
