Personal Statement

I like reading — it allows me to indulge in my fantasies, learn from wiser others and to use a cliché —  travel in space and time. I think I was fortunate that through childhood summer vacations, school and college, I encountered many different works & worlds ranging from good old Harry Potter to Voltaire’s political philosophy. Besides, my mother is a strong advocate of life-long learning and reading, so its a shared passion. I like bookstores and the smell of books as much as I like reading!
