Elizabeth Christine

Santa Fe

I was born to missionary parents in the Southwest United States, a place known for millennia as the Tewa World. My life has been a gradual process of learning to honor this place and those who's ancestors cared for the land long before colonizers arrived from Europe. The invasion of European conquerors and settlers created a disturbing history, which is now ours to find a way through. Part of the healing is for me to reconnect with my own Indigenous roots; finding my way back to harmonious connection with Mother Earth.
