I like to move my body… to music outside of my head and the inside songs as well. Sometimes coordinated-ly… not always on purpose. I hang with dancers and find inpiration to try more things. I am known as… A Friend to Belly Dancers.

Personal Statement

My dance story… well, as kids in my Nana’s house we were encouraged to dance… to move our limbs rythmically. To flail through the air with purpose… intentional or not. If I were to break down my style influence I would say that my back ground is social dance; club; soloist. (Bwah hahaha. It’s funny 'cause it’s true.) I started dancing on my own time on my own dime out at the back alley gay clubs of the ‘90s. There I saw the divas and the dappers do their things. My friends introduced me to industial club scene with pits and wildings. Over the years I’ve taken a few lessons here and there… tango, line dancing, belly dance (Zahfira{Olivia Kissel, Maria Hammer}, Kahzar {Meliana and Karin}, Asharah, Onc`e, Heather Leona, and Donna Mejia ).
