Awarded the Anne G. Locascio Scholarship for the 2020 Mendocino Coast Writers Conference poetry workshop with Michelle Peñaloza. This scholarship was awarded to writers working on a project related to intergenerational trauma and/or family history.

Poet Laureate of Lake County, CA
Appointed as Lake County's eleventh Poet Laureate for 2020-2022. Primarily role is to promote and encourage literacy and poetry throughout the County of Lake communities.  In June 2021, my term was extended to 2024.

Lead curator/editor for the Middletown Art Center’s RESILIENCE and RESTORE chapbook projects, collections of written work and visual art created in various workshops by members of the community. North Coast Opportunities
NCO Epic Preparedness, Lake County Bloom, and Listos California came together for the Epic Poetry Contest, a 6 week poetry contest series. Each week's theme was based on the 5 Steps of Emergency Preparedness.
