Over my six years apprenticing with Suasan Feaveayear I learned herbal cultivation, wild identification and harvesting, herbal product production, as well as clinical applications.
During my six years of work-study I focused on cultivation, wild harvesting and herbal production including tincture making, mixing formulas, salve making, herbal oil making, herbal honey and syrup making, bath & beauty product production.

I co-taught a day-long intensive for Northern New Mexico College on New Mexico medicinal plants and medicine making. We led 25 students into the Rocky Mountains to learn about the local medicinal plants and then had a lab component where they learned how to process the herbs.
In this year long program I studied both clinical nutrition as well as personal and community nutrition education.
